H&K remodeling took over a project someone else had botched and brought it back to life like a phoenix! We live in a different state so when they took over our project communication was essential and I was not disappointed. Both Danielle and Jake were excellent communicators in addition to their fantastic remodeling skills. I have not been disappointed in any aspect of their work-from tiling, to mechanical to painting, they are fast, accurate and they really care about details. If you are in southeastern Wyoming, I would not hesitate to use H&K for your project. Our project is almost wrapping up but I have plans for them to do many more things that I might have put off simply because I appreciate their excellent work and they are a remarkable value for the service they provide. Laramie is lucky to have H&K.

I highly recommend H&K for any remodeling or construction job, big or small. They will always be my first choice for as long as I am living in Laramie. Their crew is highly skilled and experienced, and they work to a very high standard. They recruit excellent subcontractors, and pay a lot of attention to detail. Jake and Danielle are outstanding at keeping a job on track, and communicating regarding progress, preferences, and any problems and troubleshooting that come up. They are very responsive to questions and requests, and really care about whether the client is happy. I first worked with them on some smaller jobs around my house (window and drywall repair, kitchen floor replacement) and was impressed with their workmanship and professionalism. When it came time to consider a large (500+ square foot) addition, there was no question that H&K is how I wanted to go. Their work was excellent at every stage of the project, from helping me locate an architect, to dealing with trying to put together a bid in a volatile construction supply market, to handling the city inspection process and interactions with utilities companies. We started my project in November, which meant that a lot of the major construction work was done in very cold winter weather. No problem for this crew, and no complaints, even though the timeline was not ideal. They got the work done within the estimated timeframe, and within budget. They were great about checking in on all the details, including asking how I would like things done, and they were kind and patient with my limited understanding of construction. They really went the extra mile to make sure everything was running as it should, even if it means following up and checking on work after hours and on weekends. This included maintenance of supplemental heat in the addition during the coldest period, and they would come check on that late at night and early in the morning. Jake, Danielle, Felix, Stephen, and Brayden are some of the hardest-working people I've ever met. The project is complete now and I couldn't be happier. H&K's work is beautiful and very high quality. We used H&K Remodeling LLC to redo a deck. From our first conversation to the end of the project they had great communication. The project turned out bigger than planned and they worked through snags along the way and even finished in the rain. Jake or Danielle checked in with me through each phase of the project to make sure I was ok with progress. And changes that needed to be made happened fast. This was a special project to my family and I felt like the entire crew understood that and put so many extra personal touches to make our deck even better than I had pictured. H & K Remodeling is, hands down, the best choice for home construction and remodeling in the Laramie-Cheyenne area. We used H & K to finish our basement, and the experience working with them was outstanding for several reasons. First, husband and wife team Jake and Danielle, along with their crew of professional craftsmen, were prompt, communicative, and attentive to detail. Through every step of the process, Jake and Danielle let us know exactly what was going on and when to expect each phase of construction to be completed. We wanted our basement to be finished over the summer, and this team delivered: They started the project in late June and it wrapped by the middle of September. Supply chain issues are not an issue for H & K; if the crew couldn't find the materials needed locally, they drove to get them elsewhere. Plus, they planned far enough in advance that there was never any lag waiting for the arrival of special order items. Not only were we impressed by their ability to stick to a tight timeline, but we were also blown away by their transparency and commitment to our budget. From the onset, Danielle shared a spreadsheet with us that documented material and labor costs, so there were never any surprises. When I realized that the electric sub-contractor was going to take a huge chunk from the overall budget, Jake and Danielle worked hard to make up for the cost elsewhere. H & K is unique because their crew does it all. The only subcontractors used for the entire project were electric and HVAC, and the relationships they have with several subs in the area ensure the work will be bid fairly and completed quickly. Finally, we recommend H & K because we love the finished product, from the expertly laid tile in the shower and bathroom (courtesy of Danielle), to the flawless drywall and paint (thanks, Mike!), to the beautiful trim work (kudos to, Stephen and Jake). Truthfully, when the crew was wrapping up, our young daughters were sad to learn that H & K's friendly faces wouldn't be seen around the house any more. H & K isn't the largest or oldest construction company in Laramie, but they are a group of the hardest working, talented, and honest people in the business. This team is truly exceptional, and we are so happy we were able to work with them on our basement project.
